Is anybody out there using Kaffeine as frontend for xine for playing Audio
My copy of xine from Fedora stock of rpms is working very well and running
xine directly I can play Audio CDs well enough. But when I use Kaffeine to
play Aud-CDs, it outputs hissing sound only. Otherwise it can play mp3
files and Video CDs and produces nice sound. This behaviour is only when
it plays Audio CDs.
I want to confirm before filing a bug-report,
Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/

Using kaffeine 0.4.3b with current Xine, I cannot confirm this, AudioCD
Maybe you just have to make some adjustments with your audio mixer?
Note, Kaffeine uses its own settings for invoking xine,
So you can have different settings for Kaffeine and Xine and this may
explain why Xine works for you better than Kaffeine, maybe your
Kaffeine uses inappropriate audio settings?
