I've made a short sample (about 12MB) cut from an h264 + AC3 hdtv VDR
recording. When I play the sample within VDR using vdr-xine, the
audio drops out and I get the following:
pcm_hw.c: snd_pcm_hw_delay() SNDRV_PCM_IOCTL_DELAY failed
When I play the sample with the vdr mplayer plugin it plays fine, no
problems. The xine-dev I spoke to, Darren Salt, said he doesn't know
enough about alsa to figure out how to fix this bug so anyone who is
able to help, please take a quick look.
vdr-1.7.14 with xine-0.9.3 plugin, mplayer/mp3-0.10.2 plugin
xine-lib-1.2 (changeset: 11499:927e4da8983c) using vdpau
xine-ui (changeset: 3024:bec48987cf60)
sound driver hda-intel from kernel loaded with parameteres:
No desktop installed, no keyboard, no mouse, etc. (Box is dedicated to htpc.)
The sample is unfortunately too big to attached to this post so I've
made it available at: http://www.zshare.net/download/76507043e3abfca8/
Thanks for any help!
