Hi I've spent some time to make my dxr3 card work on xine (0.9.8). After some hacking on the em8300 modules the picture is perfect (both on screen and TV) but the problem come when I want to control the sound output. I could not fin any place to select dxr3 sound output instead of oss/alsa/... My first idea was to add "--audio-driver dxr3" but that did not work and I found out that there was no "xineplug_ao_out_dxr3.so file". The alternatives are null, oss, esd. Then I checked the man pages, config-files, faq and finally found this option: audio.a52_pass_through:1 I added it to my configuration - but no luck To make it short: Maybe someone with the knowledge could add some information about setting ut the dxr3 with xine. This don't have to be many lines, just some info about setting up the sound and maybe a "what to do if your xine-lib have no dxr3 option (eg. install em8300 & recompile). Otherwise: Great work! If you've got one soundcard, with one DSP on it, that'll be /dev/dsp0, so the DXR3 will be /dev/dsp1, and so on. So you just tell Xine which DSP to use (1, 2, whatever). -- I will not show off 6AD6 865A BF6E 76BB 1FC2 | www.piku.org.uk/public-key.asc E4C4 DEEA 7D08 D511 E149 | www.piku.org.uk wn...@cv...t.hx (rot13'd) |
