Get http://www.linuxtv.org/download/dvd/dvd_disc_20000215.tar.gz, and extract the source. Build, and use the 'regionset' tool to set the region on your RPC-II drive to region 1. Don't forget you can only change the region 5 times. Hopefully soon the CSS plugins for Xine will incorporate the code from VideoLAN to bypass the RPC-II region checks.
