Category: audio output problems Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Valerio (it_amroth) >Assigned to: Diego Pettenò (dgp85) Summary: Playing broken MP3 generates a crash Initial Comment: I've got a probably broken MP3 file (link: http://www.coldshock.net/amroth/guilty.mp3.bz2 ) which makes Amarok and Kaffeine, both using xine 1.1.2 as engine, crash when I try to play it on them. I've also tried with MPlayer, which plays the files without any hearable glitch. In detail: Using xine 1.1.1: playing the file under Kaffeine and Amarok made them complain about a busy audio output, and also made Amarok crash. Using xine 1.1.2: Playing the file under Kaffeine and Amarok caused two instant crashes. I'm using Slackware Linux 10.2, Amarok 1.4.1 and Kaffeine 0.8. MPlayer version 've tested the file with is 1.0pre8-3.3.6 . Keep up the excellent work! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Diego Pettenò (dgp85) Date: 2006-12-25 16:27 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=60011 Originator: NO This should be fixed in 1.1.3 release. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109655&aid=1565599&group_id=9655 |
