Initial Comment:
I use gxine 0.5.4 from Dries RPM repository for FC4. 

The xine installation I get from there always opens a
setup wizard when run, although the first wizard screen
says "...just press Close and you will not be bothered
again."

Could someone at least point out how gxine determines
whether it is run for the first time or not.
