The latest xine (1.1.10) breaks xine-config. If I have installed xine in /usr/local and I run /usr/local/bin/xine-config, it won't find xine, since PKG_CONFIG_PATH is not set by default to /usr/local/lib{64}/pkgconfig. Worse, if I have installed a different xine in /usr, it will pick up that version of xine, instead of the one in /usr/local. Since xine-config is a wrapper around pkg-config I think it should set the PKG_CONFIG_PATH. Why was this even backported to the 1.1 branch? Thanks, Sander |
