Ha, I didn't realize I could choose several deinterlace filters from the ui. The field "deinterlace plugin" currently shows: tvtime:method=linearBlend,cheap_mode=1,pulldown=0,use_progressive_frame_flag=1 Where could I find the docs for that particular plugin or a list of other plugins I could try? For now, I only tried removing the "cheap_mode=1" but that yields no visible difference. For reference, I have placed online a short sample video (~4MB) I encoded with mencoder as mentionned previously: http://timotheegroleau.com/storm_me_mpeg4_p2.mpg (note: the sample video is of my cat and the lighting is poor, please don't pay attention to the quality :p) Thanks, Tim. |
