i must say it is hard to believe you have successfully compiled vidix
drivers without hitting any of the linkage problems people reported
(the path to libdha was simply wrong for all drivers). i guess you
must have it disabled on configure by some reason, i don't know how it
would be possible to compile otherwise.

probably that big commit to deinterlacer asm code (provided by pax team, ii=
rc).
the problem was reported by Jason Tackaberry here on xine-devel on Dec
31, 2006. i only had the chance to confirm it today.

btw... do you know that most of our deinterlacer asm code is also
shared with tvtime, right?

no, i don't want to revoke your access. that would be a completely
stupid demonstration of "admin powers" ;-)
you have been way more active on the project than me and i know you
want to improve xine. your contributions are greatly appreciated.

it is just that i think big/radical changes need more testing or
discussion before they can be committed. deinterlace patch was big, if
i was the one to commit it i would at least try all the deinterlacer
methods to make sure they still work. mmapped file access may be a
small change but i would have discussed it on list before implementing
(someone could possibly have thought about file increasing case, for
example).
