System particulars: Dual 500 MHz G4 (PPC) 2.4.20-ben10 SMP kernel ATI Technologies Inc Rage 128 PF/PRO AGP 4x TMDS (rev 0) XFree86-4.3.0-2.1c using ati driver libxine1-1_beta12-1/xine-ui-0.9.21-1 I don't do anything special with nice levels, so X and xine run with the default nice level of 0. Perhaps it could be an issue related to the processor speed. -Bill |
