[xine-user] Hardware support

Can I get hardware support for a Matrox card?  G450 to be specific so I can
watch Encrypted movies.  Or is there another method.  I've seen the
libdvdcss and the d4d plugin are these redundant or complimentary.  
I've seen links to ldconfig- what does this do?
