Xindice.NET help

I have downloaded Xindice.NET from sourceForge and tried to play with it.
However when I try the following code:

  [WebMethod]
  public void testXindice()
  {
   // display the number of documents
   int numberOfDocuments = client.GetDocumentCount( "/db/rated" );
   Console.WriteLine( "Number of documents: " + numberOfDocuments.ToString() );
  }
}
}
It fails and give me the following error:

Unfortunately there is no documentation on it.
Does anyone has any clue?
