Trying to run v 6.54 in my laptop I just get a white screen with name of software and minimize & others buttons. No menu, and nothing more.
Previously a command blank screen flashes for a second and dissapears.
I try -0 21 but no changes.
Does your window look like this or is the drop down menu missing as well?
If it does look like this try to start one of the modules via the drop down menu or the shortcut (for example ctrl + 5 for the foil analysis module).
Windows look as seen in the attached file. Ctrl S ads a dialog window for saving project, Ctrl O same but opening and Ctrl X . Also clicking over where menu is supposed to be, application display some sub menu.
Ctrl 5 or any similar are not showing anything, but "preferences" is working properly...I guess
That's too bad, I'd have thought you would be able to acess it since the other settings were displayed correctly.
Frankly I'm out of ideas.
Have you tried older versions of xflr5?
Also could you post more information about your pc like the exact windows version and hardware?

Have you tried older versions of xflr5? No, I haven´t but could do it. Were can I get older versions?

Have there been any updates/fixes to this? I am also trying to run version 6.55 and am getting the white screen. Menus appear when I hover over where they should be. If an older version is the solution for now, where can I get one?

In most if not all cases this is due to a graphic card which does not support OpenGL 3.3.
The support for the legacy OpenGL 2.1 has been deprecated in v6.49.
Please launch the OpenGL settings (Ctrl+Alt+O) and check the version supported by the GPU. https://flow5.tech/docs/flow5_doc/UI/OpenGL.html

I had the same problem, and i found a solution that worked for me.
on my laptop there are 2 gpu, an AMD and INTEL(integrated), the AMD one was the problam for me. try following these steps and switch to a different GPU. https://www.itechtics.com/use-specific-gpu/

Thank you all and especially @hadar for the fix as I had the same issue with v6.61 & previous 3 versions being new at this also and somewhat not computer savy.
Fix: I followed hadar link instructions and selected the NVIDIA GPU for this App and now showing the drop-down menu.
About me: I am just an Old Paraglider Pilot (56+ YO) with RC Hobby also as part of my life and passion.
My System:
Note: This is an Old, bulcky & Heavy but great 21" Laptop.
* Dell-XPS; Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz / RAM 8GB /64bit
* Windows 10 Home, ver 22H2
* Graghic: NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M

Try updating your graphics drivers first. Then, run the application as an administrator and set it to compatibility mode for an older version of Windows. Also, make sure you have all necessary dependencies installed, like .NET and Visual C++ Redistributables.
Hopefully, one of these steps helps resolve white screen the problem!

Well, that's curious.
Can you enter the OpenGL settings and switch to a diffefent (older) version of OpenGL?

Wath exactly you mean ? If I try to enter into Opengl menu I get another white screen.
That's too bad, I'd have thought you would be able to acess it since the other settings were displayed correctly.

6.11 seems to be working properly
last try: launch xflr5 with a 2.1 openGL context
