eye twitches I've never encountered this kind of error before. I wish it were more specific as to the direct cause.
Alright, let's take a few shots in the dark here:
Make sure you have .NET 4.0 properly installed. You can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17718
Try running it as administrator: Right-click on Xfire Game Customizer and select "Run As Administrator".
Does this error occur in older versions of XGC? Try downloading 1 or 2 older ones. Might help pin-point when it became an issue.
Ok ive reinstalled .net 4.0 but i dont think that was the problem.
1.3.0.5 works properly
1.4.0.0 gives me this error and somewhat starts:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

** JIT Debugging **
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitdebugging="true">
</system.windows.forms></configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
And all the other versions give me the error i originaly posted.
Alright, go ahead and try this:
Navigate to: C:\Users\<your user="" name="">\AppData\Local\Macrandoni\</your>
Delete everything in that folder and try running it.
This should reset the program.
crosses his fingers
Let me know if it works.
Nope its still not working , same error.
Alright, I did some snooping around, and it look likes the "Problem Event Name: CLR20r3" is a .NET issue.
I see many threads on forums with people having similar issues. I ran across this Terraria thread where someone was also getting the "CLR20r3" error.
Some people managed to get it fixed, read the replies and see if anything works for you.
