This may be due to the "Use Windows Input" option. To fix this, please open XGC and go to the Auto Setup menu. In there, load the Project64 entry you made. If "Use Windows Input" is checked, please uncheck it.

Unchecking this may mean that you need to use the "basic" interface, instead of the Extended one.

After you have done this, save the entry, re-detect games, then try playing Project64 again.

If the problem persists, please send me a copy of your Project64 entry by going to the "Advanced" section of XGC, locating the project64 entry, and using the "Export" option.
