#244 Icon in Tools toolbar with user cutomizable action

My use is to mount removable drives or file shares without editing /etc/fstab. Currently I do it with scripts/programs in the scripts folder, but would like to do it from an icon in the tool bar. Would it be possible to add an icon to the Tools toolbar where the user could specify a custom action? I think this would add functionality for many uses.
