Hi,

i tried xfe because the good old dolphin needs a lot of kde stuff installed that i don't want wo install. what i miss is the possibility to hide folders such as /bin, /lib, folders that i don't need and when i change something there i use the terminal. the only folders i need are /home and /media. so i've written these folder names in a file .hidden and copied that into /. dolphin and some other file managers now hides the folders in the folder list. the same with the 'lost+found'-folder.

an other feature i liked on dolphin was the "windows-like" renaming of files. i press f2 and i can change the name directly in the file or folder name. there isn't an extra windows that pops up. thats much faster when you have to rename several files in the same folder.
