#200 open& lock new tabs, configuring shortcuts, navigating in help

1st) Is there any option to open a new tab in the panel and lock it so you can have your frequently visited tabs always open (I created alias for "cd '/to frequent locations'" but as I typed ctrl+e and type that alias nothing.
2nd) I was trying to find shortcut to hide/unhide hidden files did not found so I try help but I could find keyword like ctrl+f "hidden" or so
