xelatex cannot display the picture of pdf format which is more than pdf 1.6 ，please checked texlive 2015
There have been similar reports on the TeX Live mailing list (see thread starting at http://tug.org/pipermail/tex-live/2015-July/037136.html) - does it help to run XeTeX as
xetex --output-driver="xdvipdfmx -V 6" [source file].tex
