Hello chrisp, Tuesday, February 10, 2004, 3:53:21 AM, you wrote: cjc> Serge has been working on an X-Com remake tactical engine. We've cjc> been working an X-Com remake Geoscape engine. hmmmmmm... UFO2000 still lacks good design (ability to easily replace rendering part of the code). Xenocide still lacks playability, at least you could add some UFOs flying and the ability to intercept them. By the way, look here. These games are very simple and easy to code, but they are playable, that's the approach I like very much: http://lxnt.info/pipermail/ufo2000/2004-February/000969.html Well, both our projects are improving, so it is quite possible that we will join out efforts in the future. -- Serge Semashko ufo2000 development team http://ufo2000.sourceforge.net |
