[Xenocide-programming] Step by Step Instructions Please

Hi everyone! I have very basic programming knowledge, and am not sure if I'm
going to be able to help at all. I was wondering if someone could give me
step by step instructions to getting all the software I need downloaded, and
then getting it set up so that I can start modifying files and adding code.
