My goal has been to keep it working with the latest stable version.   
On my machine (running 3.0.2-2 at the moment), both module-list and  
process-list work.  The process-data example has a minor issue with  
more recent kernels so it's output is gibberish (but it doesn't crash).

Could you send the output of the broken commands so that I could  
figure out what's happening on your machine?
