We could add a functional option in th UI reflect the orginal directory structure on normalisation. Currently the directory is flattened on normalisation.
This feature request has been split out from bug 3499719. Currently the "Retain directory structure" option means that normalised Xena files when exported will return this export to the original directory structure rather than to a flat structure. The output Xena files themselves are output in a flat structure. This option should be renamed and an extra option added to allow the output Xena files to also be output in a directory structure mirroring the input directory structure. The options could be expressed as:
X Retain Directory Structure
---- X For Export Only (Flat Structure for Normalisation)
The sub-option would be greyed out in the case of conversion.
