Xena does not recognise .wps as a document. It 'normalises' as a binary. The original document is readable (with prodding) in MS Office
I will hazard a guess that other Works formats such as the spreadsheet are also not supported.

OOo can render most of the file that Ian has attached here. It's mostly a text document. Any reason not to add it to the office docs normaliser?
