#365 no suitable encoding for bbold12

I use the bbold package for Blackboard Bold fonts and encountered:

xdvi.bin: Warning: guess_encoding(): nothing suitable for "bbold12", assuming Cork encoding.

A minimal file that should exhibit the problem is:

\documentclass[12pt]{article}
\usepackage{bbold}
\begin{document}
$\mathbb{R}$
\end{document}

I presume this problem is exhibited by earlier versions as well. Since I do see a bbold R with xdvik, I presume that in fact
a 10-point bbold R is being substituted ... which of course, is quite ok ... so this is not a super-urgent issue.
