Often, the ruler is set at a rather high zoom level. When returning to a lower zoom level in order to check, e.g., the total layout, the correct position of ruler gets lost as the latter is fixed in respect of the viewing window. However, it would be very useful, if the ruler kept its position relative to the document, instead.
