I just tested the newest 1.9.8 version of xdrawchem, compiled from the
source on a SUSE 9.1 linux.
All went well without any problem, the only notice, that for suse after
the install one should run a "ldconfig" to get all the library paths
However I have noticed a great problem with the automatic text-label
modification: adding hydrogens and/or modifying the indexes in the
The indexes (upper or lower) will reappear as normal full size numbers
but the biggest problem is the (added AND incorrectly) added hydrogens.
example: ...-CF3 -> ...-CF3H, ...-CF3H4; ...-NH2 -> ...-NH3 etc. and it
is impossible to get rid of them. Would it be possible to make the auto
complete/check function optional? I think, unfortunately in it's current
state the whole program become unusable.
