I downloaded the Portable XDM ...
I also added the Mozilla & Chromium Addons ...
There seems to be NO "HOW-TO DOCUMENTATION
anywhere to be found ... in the Portable XDM download ...
nor anywhere else ... that I could find/see ...
I searched the forum for "PORTABLE ...
and found a post saying copy the unzipped Portable contents
to a the %USERPROFILE%/.xdm directory ~
which I did ...
My experience ... as per above ...
leads me to submit that ... maybe ...
XMD could/shouild improve
the "HOW-TO DOCUMENTATION ...
both in general & specifically for the Portable ...
Thank you & regards

Hello ...
Well ... I don't agree ...
I am not a novice user ...
& ... as I "said" ...
I had to search the help forum ...
Not including any HOW-TO is ... imo ... illogical ...

XDM is NOT downloading ... on either of my laptops ...
I have the XDM "capture" extensions ...
on both the Firefox & Chromium browsers ...
Downloads are captured to XDM ...
I gave the XDM javaw.exe an outbound Firewall approval ...
The XDM download popup never starts downloading ...
After each download link is "captured",
the browsers always show (something like) the following:
I am using ArchLinux. If anybody use Arch:
1. Just download xdm-2018-x64.tar.xz file.
2. Extract anywhere.
3. Run the extracted installer with su -c ./install.sh command.
Inside xdm-2018-x64.tar.xz there is a readme.txt file for installation.

There is no HOW-TO DOCUMENTATION as NONE IS NEEDED. You should unzip and run the app.
