Hi
from version 3.01 build 25, there is no try icon (indicator in Ubuntu).
as my opinion its not usable to always having a big icon in the corner of screen!
please get back the try icon or at least make an option to enable it and an option to remove this big icon.
think that if all application try to do something like xdm. screen will be full of unusable icons. (clean UI is all thing I and probably other users want)
BTW thanks for your great work!
and one more thing is that

Sorry I forgot to complete last line.
and one more thing is that, why don't you try to put your app in Ubuntu software center or make a launchpad repository.
there are lots of great download manager for MS windows.
as you are doing a great Free Software work, why don't you focus more on Linux and specially Ubuntu?!

I faced one problem in Ubuntu.
when I have some maximized app, and trying to minimize them, one by one, for every window I should do one click on app and then I can minimize the application with minimize icon.
the problem is, because download box is always on top of other windows, and as you know in Ubuntu, control icons (exit, minimize, maximize) of maximized window are on the top panel, top panel shows control icons of focused window and now always focus is on XDM download box.

Hmm... there must have been some inconsistency.
Anyways I have uploaded the most recent version now. (xdman_mint_ubuntu,xdman.zip and xdman_all_linux.tar.gz)
You can try and test it.

Next version will have an option of displaying tray icon and the download box will be smaller.
I have already tried to publish it on ubuntu software center but that didn't work.
And lastly I am equality focused on both operating systems.
Thats why build 25 comes with the auto browser integration option.

I have already included the tray icon feature again. Download it from sourceforge.net and disable download box
Sorry, how to disable download box?
Goto options -> general -> uncheck download box
There's no such option in my Options->General, please see:

It's still 3.01 build 25, right?
Newer version with is this option is available.
Which one? I've downloaded both xdman_mint_ubuntu.deb and xdman.zip, both contains the same .jar.

current version for linux is 3.03
the .deb is correct, but .zip still contains the old version (.jar date is of December 3rd 2013)
