Andrew May I suggest that you try selecting each com port in turn in the XCSoar System Setup/Devices. You will hopefully come across the correct one and start getting GPS data through. I have used XCSoar with both Bluetooth and SD card GPS receivers. In each case I had to use trial and error to find the correct com port.
