When unit A attacks unit B which is transporting units C,D,E,F, then a single hit can hit B plus each of the units inside of B, possibly allowing a single hit to destroy five things at once. A single fighter attack on a city can destroy two armies, an armor, and three fighters. Is there a logic behind this, or is this a bug? It makes for intereting tactics where you can greatly reduce an enemy strength if they are holed up. Could logic be added to have everyone flee the container if possible when under attack? Should things which are being carried or contained have extra defenses? --- Meanwhile, an interesting story... I like setting up games against three computer opponents, giving each of them a 2x advantage, and seeing if I can survive. Recently I had a game where i was just about to lose everything when all the sudden a city way across the ocean revolted to my side. After a few more turns I had lost my entire original continent but from that one rebel city I had regained another continent. The computers eventually won, but that sure was quite a time! |
