It sure would be nice to have a map generating utility
that showed you how well your map-generating parameters
were without requiring you to run xconq every time. It
would also be nice if said utility allowed you to also
save your maps.

I am not very keen on creating another external util for
Xconq. Imfapp doesn't make me all that happy, to be honest.
I have been scheming to roll Imfapp's functionality into a
designer mode in Sdlconq at some later point in time.
Presently Xconq is not very good at resetting its game
state. It would be nice if one had the choice to quit the
present game (and be returned to game setup) or exit Xconq
entirely. To do this, and to handle multiple map generation
runs, Xconq will have to get better at resetting game state.
It is a longer term project. Don't expect it before 7.5.0,
and maybe not before 7.6.0 either.
