XCoder binary and source releases available

The XCoder project has released the first source and binary distributions for the MDA XCoder framework.

XCoder 1.0.6 is the initial release that can be downloaded from SourceForge. The version number is consistent with older version numbers of XCoders that are not available via Source Forge.

XCoder 1.0.6 contains pre-defined model profiles and code generators for Java, J2EE and C++ that can be easily extended or customized.

In addition a specific XCoder (XCoder/MDA) can be used to create new XCoders or adapt existing XCoders using MDA techniques.

UML tools are supported via a XMI interface or a proprietary XML interface used to integrate Rational Rose.

XCoder has been tested with Rational Rose 200x and Magic Draw 5.0.
