In xcircuit 2.5.2, I am experimenting with the quad
NAND gate module. I can't find any way to create a pcb
netlist with Vdd and Gnd connected. The pcb netlist in
the tutorial also doesn't have power and ground
connections.
I will leave this as "pending" until I come up with a proper
solution.
No solutions present themselves as being entirely
satisfactory. One
idea which keeps the schematic from looking ugly is to add
another
info-label handling mechanism for type "pcb", in which
unmarked pins
can be declared and attached to global net names; e.g.,
something
like "pcb:%p"7"=GND %p"14"=Vcc", in which "GND" and "Vcc"
are parameterized so they can be reassigned to non-default
values as necessary. I will work on this feature addition,
and keep
this bug report as "pending" until it's done.
