More snippets of the conversation.. :-). I've sent Vadim the code in
chmapp.cpp to make sure, but it seems that Eamon is right and no further
synchronization is needed. Actually even the mutex in CHMInputStream
seems like overkill now. I'm waiting to see what else Vadim has to say
if anything, and I'll probably pull xCHM 0.9.5 out of the hat by the end
of the week or early next week.

You don't need it to be thread safe if the only thing the other thread
does is to post events to the main thread. The event loop is the simplest
synchronization mechanism, in fact.
