#166 Freezes when waking from sleep (Leopard 10.5.4)

I leave my client running 24/7, but when i come back to it and my computer is waking up from sleeping the interface is frozen. I can't switch to any channels, buttons are unresponsive, theirs black areas to show the program froze, yet checking the status of the program from (force quit) doesn't show the program to be frozen. I have no other errors with the client or any other applications i have on my system.
