#164 scrollbar does not stay at bottom

I am not sure what causes this-- it could be a font, or it could be something else.. But lately when I run xchat aqua, the scroll bar does not move down revealing the newest message received. It will end up moving up and up and up.. and I constantly have to scroll down to read the latest message.
