Test system: MacBook Pro 2.0 GHz 2 GB RAM MacOS 10.4.8

Clicking on preferences menu item in X-Chat Aqua 0.16.0
does not open preferences dialog; cmd-, also has no
effect. Application menu simply flashes and nothign
else happens.

    Can you check the console for error messages? I can't reproduce the problem.

    Starting over Terminal, it says (when clicking on "Preferences..."):
    2006-12-06 22:19:57.288 X-Chat Aqua[532] *** Assertion failure in -[NSTextFieldCell _objectValue:forString:errorDescription:], AppKit.subproj/NSCell.m:1298
    2006-12-06 22:19:57.405 X-Chat Aqua[532] Invalid parameter not satisfying: aString != nil

    On start-up, it says:
    2006-12-06 22:19:15.471 X-Chat Aqua[532] CFLog (0): CFMessagePort: bootstrap_register(): failed 1103 (0x44f), port = 0x3a03, name = 'X-Chat Aqua.ServiceProvider'
    See /usr/include/servers/bootstrap_defs.h for the error codes.

    Can you zip up your xchat prefs directory and send it to me? My address is in the README.
