#232 Add Text Notifications

Although X-Chat has support for blinking in taskbar or sound notifications, it does not support sending out text that someone has responded. I think this may be a useful feature to many, especially those using GNOME Shell who do not usually see the icon as the bar it is displayed on is usually hidden.
