Every time there is a version update, on the official xchat build, it replaces the colors.conf among other files in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\X-Chat 2

This means i have to create a backup and restore it after every upgrade

Any chance you could set it so it doesnt replace the files if they exist?

(This is upgrading to 2.8.7e, but is the same in the last few updates)

Thanks

Sam

You've just chosen to install the "Eye Candy Theme", untick it.
