XChat 2.6.9c
Windows 5.1 [i1586/1,60GHz] - Windows XP Pro Sp2
Codepage: 1252 Unicode: Yes
Compiled: Dec 17 2006
----

I connected the XChat, with a new server on my 'servers list', so I introduce this new server equal the example(server/port, channels to join, nickserv password and close).

2006, 12 21
The first connection was perfect, connected and joinned in the channels, I have edited the preferences('show timestamp' + ':%S' - seconds, 'use the text box font and colors', ...), and continued very nice.

2006, 12 22
The twice I connected in the network, and when joinned the channels, the first channel put on it name on status tab. So I remove all 'auto-join channels', on 'server list' -> 'edit', and connected again.

I looked to status tab, and I saw that where is the network name was '<none>'..., so I join a channel and this channel name stay on status tab, again.

Well, I will wait a new release or a help to fix it.
-PS: included a printscreen.

Bye,
Raphael Dourado

Have you turned OFF (in Settings > Tabs) this:

"Open an extra tab for server message"?

Yes, I had tested this option, and I select now this 'extra tab' and it functioned correctly.

Well, I think that wasn't a bug... I will study better this program.

    Thanks.
