Subject: PMR29175 /proc missing on diskless sys
ECMWF Alex Wood report /proc missing on all diskless node.
I found old mail for this [ xcat-Bugs-3397226 ] /Proc filesystem is not created on AIX diskless node, it was fixed on 2.6.7, but I could not find 3397226 bugs.
Customer saw it again on 2.7.2 ?
Product or Service: eXtreme Cloud Administrative Toolkit on AIX 2.7.2

C2T: Missing /proc filesystem

A user recently reported they were unable to run procstack against a
process, got error:
fopen: No such file or directory
procstack: 3932398 is not a process
Tracked this down to node not having /proc filesystem mounted. Further
investigation reavealed that all our diskless nodes are missing the
/proc entry in /etc/filesystems, however if I check the image on the
EMS it is there:
ec_c_p5_v1: dev = /proc
ec_c_p5_v1: vol = "/proc"
ec_c_p5_v1: mount = true
ec_c_p5_v1: check = false
ec_c_p5_v1: free = false
ec_c_p5_v1: vfs = procfs
Issue exists on both clusters that have been upgraded to HPC SP5.1
(xCAT 2.7.2) in both storage and compute images. Also checked with HPC
test team, they see the same issue.
