How can I create a Root CA?

      Using XCA, I cann't find a way to create a Root CA. I'm a completely newer, is here anyone who can help me? Thank you very much^_^

      First, create a template. There you may select default settings for a CA certificate.
      Next, create a cert from that template.
      I admit, that this is somehow suboptimal.

      Will think about it again...

    All 'create' options are gray, Unable to do this.
    The 'New Database' from File wants the name of an existing database, does not create one.

    How do I create a new CA ?

    No... choose "New Database" and give it a path and type in a name. Then you are asked for a - new - password. After creating the db file, you can create keys and certificates.
