When trying to import a free trustcenter.de mail
certificate into xca, I got <<certificate CA serial is
lower than the highest serial of one signed certificate
it will be set to 1002>>

1) what does that mean.
2) It would be great to have each error/warning link
into the manual by means of an error number or alike
(see
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=737022&group_id=62274&atid=500028\)

It means that the internal minimum serial for signing was
set to 1002 to prevent creating certificates with the same
"serial and issuer". Since you do not have the trustcenter.de
private key and can not issue certificates with this cert
this info-message is meaningless for you but the application
    did not know that.

is there a way to teach the appliation that the
corresponding private key is not around and thus spare the
naive user (=me) warnings that are meaningless?
