[Xc3sprog-users] Programming PROM

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody could help me with programming my Spartan-3
Starter Board with XC3S400 chip. Downloading a bitfile with xc3sprog on
Ubuntu works great, but I was wondering if I did something wrong when
downloading a .mcs file.
The XCF02S PROM is in position 1, so I used the following command:

xc3sprog -c pp -v -p 1 filename.mcs
*
*
However, this gave all kinds of errors. Am I doing something wrong here?
Any solution to get the program into the PROM would be great!
