With Spartan 3E Starter Kit it works with its internal USB JTAG stuff
on FreeBSD-9 CURRENT.

I have FTDI-based ARM JTAG debugger, which is Amontec cable clone, and since
Amontec advertises possibility of replaying SVFs via their device, it might be
possible here as well.

There were some problems with parallel cable and I've sent a report
to this list. Hopefully we'll be able to see it shortly, as it's
waiting for a moderator.
