You misunderstand. It's not about dates - it's about secrecy. If there's a 
valid reason for not being able to have a complete version in CVS - good. 
If there's not - bad. All I wanted to know was the real reason - keeping 
in mind that "we" had to beat the xbmp developers with a stick to get them 
to open source it in the first place.

There are no license violations, it's just the way things are done that I 
disagree with :) I fully respect the amount of work frodo and runtime are 
putting into this - as has been evidently shown during yamp development 
myself and humming cannot compete at all counting loc.
