XBRL technology is a world standard, based on XML, for the dissemination and exchange of financial information from companies and regulators entities in the financial market. Financial professionals need to analyze these documents quickly and objectively for decision making, which requires means to provide resources for analysis at any location the analyst is. The use of mobile devices to depict necessary information for the analysis of financial data is an alternative to timely make decisions based on financial data. An open code solution for data visualization and, an architecture disconnected to technologies is a way so that other professionals can contribute to the improvement of the tool and implementation in different computing platforms. As the screen of mobile devices is reduced it is necessary to perform a great deal of manipulations so that data are presented according to user preferences. Similarly, because mobile device is limited in relation to its hardware, data processing can be performed via Web Services, the technology that provides a standard environment of interoperability between different software applications. Thus, viewing XBRL data based on user preferences and their handling are provided in XBRL tool MOBILE. Moreover, although the proposed tool has been implemented for the Android operating system, its architecture allows integration with other operating systems. Thus, this work proposes a tool for visualization and manipulation of XBRL documents on any mobile device. A case study was conducted from XBRL instances provided by the US-SEC, which has shown the use and applicability of the proposed tool.

-XBRL MOBILE is a tool to visualization of XBRL data on mobile devices, developed for the Android operating system. This tool is developed with features such as selection of XBRL taxonomies and instances, which are available in a repository itself, selection of elements that compose these instances for graphing of selected information that allows comparisons of data in different financial reports of the same taxonomy. The tool also allows both user-selected information, as the graph generated is exchanged through social media and to other Bluetooth devices containing XBRL MOBILE.
-For the improvement of this tool we visualizes the following works: (i) the implementation of the tool on a differents operating systems; (Ii) the treatment of different taxonomies by the tool in order to allow the user to examine reports of differents taxonomies; (Iii) use of software agents that enable the exchange of data between mobile devices without requiring user interaction, ie, insertion of ubiquitous computing; (Iv) integration with the framework that was proposed by Borges and Silva (2012) or others based on Web Services; (V) implementation of a human-computer (HCI) interface for the tool based on an environment that can maximize the user skills; (Vi) implementation of other interfaces. In this work the mobile interface which interacts with the user via the mobile device was presented, but other interfaces may be implemented, for example, the Web interface; (Vii) security in the exchange of information between mobile devices is not implemented in the proposed tool, so there is security requirements needs
