As the screen of mobile devices is reduced it is necessary to perform a great deal of manipulations so that data are presented according to user preferences. Similarly, because mobile device is limited in relation to its hardware, data processing can be performed via Web Services, the technology that provides a standard environment of interoperability between different software applications. Thus, viewing XBRL data based on user preferences and their handling are provided in XBRL tool MOBILE. Moreover, although the proposed tool has been implemented for the Android operating system, its architecture allows integration with other operating systems.
