A new install option in Debian that I think would be
much appreciated is to also be able to install using
FATX on the F-partition (i.e. using two files, rootfs and
swap, like in the present E-partition-option).
Reason:
Many xbox-users have large hard disc (like 120 GB) and
this would allow for a larger Linux-partition and still keep
the F-disc for other data (games, media etc.). I think it
would also feel nice to be able to entirely keep out of
the MS-domain of the E-partition.
The option would of cause have to check that the F-
partition is ready for use (formated), and would allow for
a larger than 2 GB rootfs file (and maybe also larger
swap?).
